The University of the West of Scotland has four campuses in the heart of west of Scotland precisely in Paisley, Lanarkshire, Dumfries and Ayr and one more campus in central London. The university has developed strong connections with business and industry. The university is comprised of four schools namely:

School of Health and Life Science

The school offers a wide range of courses under the subject areas including:

  • Midwifery

All the courses are accredited from the UNICEF. The courses are also accredited by professional bodies such as:

  • Institute of Biomedical Science

The school also has research instates namely the Institute of Health and Care Research; Institute of Biomedical & Environmental Health Research (IBEHR); Institute of Clinical Exercise and Health Science.
